MY STORY
YOU are the magic, not the place, and you can bring it wherever you go
bonjour, hi!
hey, i’m maca
A Venezuelan-born, Montreal-adopted fan of joyful moments, mama of two cute humans (Nico & Oli) and two adorable cats (Moshi & Mika). Shoe connoisseur, lemonade fan, plantain (not bananas) enthusiast. If you love all things pretty, DIY projects with your own hands, dopamine fashion and fun things to do, well you are in the right place!
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
a fun project that became my everything
Back in 2012, VERY pregnant with my first baby boy, only two years after I took the decision to leave my home country Venezuela, I started a lifestyle blog called Hey Maca, sharing my day-to-day as a brand new immigrant mama, my passion for recipes, cute places and photography.
With a background in Marketing, Interior Design and PR, I worked a few years full time in advertising until I took the leap quitting my job at the time, dedicating it entirely to Hey Maca since 2017. Join me while I finish my home reno, show you how to fill a dopamine closet & become BFFs – forever.
