Our Fave Pancake Spot
Arthurs Nosh Bar – This one is on my top one for years now. Arthur’s pancakes are STILL everything a pancake must be in life, aka brunch perfection. Light, fluffy, and perfectly golden – they’re the kind that make you want to come back (and I do!). The bagel tower with fresh salmon is another must-try, and please, PLEASE even if the line-up looks endless, just wait, trust me.
What to order: The pancakes (obviously!), bagel tower with fresh salmon, yogurt & granola
4621 Notre-Dame Ouest, Montreal
Our Fave Soft Scrambled Eggs Spot
Larry’s – If you know, you KNOW. Larry’s is the master of what might be the creamiest, dreamiest scrambled eggs in all of Montreal. Their all-day breakfast tapas-style menu is perfect for any pit-stop, whether it is a weekday or weekend (and no, no judgment here!), along with the cozy Mile End spark that makes you feel like you are in the coolest friend’s kitchen.
What to order: The soft scrambled eggs, mushrooms (please), and toast

Our Fave Eggs Benedict Spot
Foiegwa – This place is an absolute must in your next Montreal visit. The charming and welcoming menu feels like a grandma hug, in the middle of her living room. This French diner with an American twist serves the best eggs benedict that’ll have you coming back for more (you’re welcome).
What to order: Eggs benedict, go for the classic jambon, cheddar and hollandaise avec truffe (yes, chef!)

Our Fave Breakfast Sandwich Spot
September Cafe – I might be biased, but September is the OG creator of a special breakfast sandwich that is LEGENDARY! and ranked as one of the best in the city, made with local ingredients (that I love) and so good you’ll be thinking about it all week (just like me). Extra points that: It’s the perfect grab-and-go or sit-and-work kind of spot.
What to order: The special breakfast sandwich (it’s what dreams are made of!)
2471 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest, Montreal
Our Fave Middle Eastern Brunch Spot
Barley – Back in the day, barley brought to Montreal its first cereal bar, and now, it transformed to a brunch every day kind of dream spot with hearty dishes full of Lebanese love. The halloumi plate is an absolute HIT – crispy, golden, and everything you want in a Middle Eastern brunch.
What to order: The halloumi plate (trust me on this one!)

Our Fave Spanish Brunch Spot
Bar Vivar – Tapas for breakfast? SÍ POR FAVOR! Bar Vivar embraces the closest Spanish flair away from Spain to Montreal brunch, with my favourite tapas like tortilla de patatas, croquetas, jamon iberico, and more. It’s like a little trip to Spain without leaving the Plateau.
What to order: Tortilla, croquetas, jamón

Leméac – Is a Montreal institution celebrating over 20 years of deliciousness (lucky us, eh?). Leméac’s weekend brunch is refined, delicious, and hands-down, *chef’s kiss*. The salmon gravlax with Nordic shrimp is divine, and their attention to detail (hello, oat milk for your coffee!) shows why this place has stood the test of time for so long among Montrealers.
What to order: Salmon gravlax with Nordic shrimp, organic omelet with raw-milk cheddar

Millmans – This adorable, welcoming, and affordable diner is PERFECT for breakfast or lunch with the family and if you ask me, the pancakes are kid-approved (our little critics loved them!). The vibe is relaxed, homie and you’ll feel as if you’re eating with your extended family you’ve missed for a long time. Pro tip: they don’t take reservations, so arrive early on weekends!
What to order: Pancakes (the kids will thank you!), classic diner breakfast

My Fave Spot if You Want to Brunch and Then Shop
Eva’s – Located at the new Royalmount’s Fou Fou, Eva’s is an amazing pre-shopping fuel that I love to hit from time to time. Their pancake bites are adorable, and so unique you’ll keep coming for more, the kind of thing that makes brunch feel so special. Eat here and then hit up Fou Fou for all your home decor dreams (you know I can’t resist!). It’s the ideal combination for a weekend well spent – delicious food followed by retail therapy. This is my go-to when I want to make a whole day of it.
