my not so green juice
I have to confess. I was so scared of green juices and I admired all my brave friends who had the courage not only to drink one but to keep it as a morning ritual every day.
I decided it was time to give it a shot and for this time only (please forgive me!! it is my first time) I used extra fruits – too afraid – and it ended up AMAZING!
Note to myself – next time I’ll use only ONE fruit.
Tengo que confesar. Tenia tanto miedo a los jugos verdes y admiraba a todas mis valientes amigas que tenían el coraje no solo de tomar uno sino de mantenerlo como su ritual matutino todos los días.
Decidí que era tiempo de darle un chance y por este solamente (perdonen!! es mi primera vez) Usé frutas extras (mucho miedo) y terminó DIVINO!
Nota a mi misma – la próxima vez sólo usa UNA fruta.
The perfect (or at least decent) green juice should have only 1 fruit and 3 or 4 veggies.
El perfecto (o al menos decente) jugo verde debería tener solo una fruta y 3 o 4 vegetales.
Here’s my rookie green juice recipe
Fruits
1 cup of pineapple / 1 taza de piña
1 tsp blueberries / 1 cdita de arandanos
1 tsp raspberries / 1 cdita de frambuesas
Veggies
A bunch of baby spinach / espinaca bebe
Fresh kale / col dinosaurio o rizada
juice of 1 lemon / jugo de un limon
and ice 🙂 / y hielo 🙂
