Last weekend, we had the busiest weekend: two events happening at the same time (insert slow applauses here).
Our pop-up at Anthropologie and a Christmas cards workshop, both in downtown Montreal.
If you ask me, I still can’t believe we were at Anthro, (our forever *take all my money right now* shop), and displaying our collection at the flagship store in our city, was, a total dream for both of us.
Oh gosh, 2020, (no pressure *coughs*) but, our goal is to dedicate way more time planning, designing and producing shop products as a team (oh hiiiiii Lucile!) and grow Hey Maca as a solid lifestyle brand.
One thing that excites me the most is doing pop-up events, meeting new people, showing our joyful collection or crafting together like our Christmas cards DIY afternoon at Place Montreal Trust (and soon, events at the studio!).
Mama Maca and Mama Lucile were so freaking excited (and wanting to buy all Anthro right after our pop-up was done!) Our Montreal Hidden Gems Map is still our best seller in all formats (postcard, letter size and large size) along with our enamel pins and notebooks!
After asking you what would you want to see in the next collection, more notebooks, desk essentials, pins and patches will hit the shop (just bear with us, ok?)
Our second event, in partnership with DeSerres and Place Montreal Trust, lucile and I planned, designed and printed the most adorable Christmas cards and sticker sheets for families who visited the mall, and crafted with us. I was SO excited to see the reaction of the little ones, picking their favourite colours and writing their festive wishes for their loved ones. It was SUCH a special moment!
But for real, how cute are these stickers? YES! We heard you and we’re launching them in the shop real soon!
I’m so excited for 2020 already, and can’t wait to sit, plan, launch and enjoy all the new treasures we have in our minds! (remember how we started just a few ago?)
