Wings! Wings!

 

I’m truly a food nerd.Today is the Superbowl (Which we don’t even watch) but I thought we could have a Sunday menu inspired theme today with two different chicken wings.This recipe is super healthy (no need to deep fry them!) and they taste as they were.
Lemon and Pepper Sauce
Asian Honey Sauce

What you’ll need

  • 2 kg chicken wings
  • 2 or 3 tbsp baking powder
  • salt
  • Steps
  • Preheat oven to 250F/120C.
  • Place wings in a large bowl and add the baking powder and salt, then toss to coat evenly.
  • Place wings on the lower middle oven rack and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Move wings up to the upper middle rack and increase the oven temperature to 425F/220C. 
  • Bake for 40 – 50 minutes, rotating them
  • Toss wings in sauce of choice (Lemon or Asian) I did both!
  • Sauces
  • Lemon and Pepper Sauce
    Just add in a bowl the juice of 4 lemons, lot of pepper, salt, 2 tbsp of garlic and 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar.
  • Asian Honey SauceMix 4 tbsp of Honey, 2 tbsp of garlic, 1 tsp hoisin sauce, 3 tbsp of soya sauce and 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar
  • Enjoy!
