Cà Phê Con Leche

A new brilliant concept opened in the city and I couldn’t be more excited trying it this week, Vietnam meeting Venezuela in this gorgeous coffee shop Ca Phe con leche.

P.s. This tiny plate you see on the side of my arepa is for Olivia, she tried them this week and she’s crazy about it, go girl!

One of the things we consider our holy grail of our home are our arepas. Imagine the excitement when I heard about this little place full of a cultural mashup and a super fun menu.  Opened 3 weeks ago, Ca phe con leche wants to bring family recipes prepared with local ingredients and lots of love. They serve breakfast and lunch with a mix of both Viet-Venezuelan options, so you’ll see salads, arepas and banh mis, perfection right? All the details are so on point, from their stunning website, the decor and that shiny happy blue in the entrance, we simply loved it!

This popular vietnamese iced coffee, Ca Phe Sua Da is one of the best I’ve ever tried. The base is condensed milk and a super strong coffee, making this mix a total dream in a super hot summer afternoon.

For all the Venezuelan coffee lovers, they also have 3 options for you, un marron, guayoyo o tetero, I think I was in heaven.

I’m so coming back for more of these.

We tried the lunch combo, two salads (Capresa and Goi ga xe phay) with two arepas dos quesos and a drink.
