| We celebrated summer this week with a perfect Spritz and an overindulge of pork quebecois goodness at Chez ma grosse truie cherie. Their new summer menu and a super on-point terrace were the stars of the night. As a huge fan of Interior design, this place surprised me a lot with very special touches in the decor. An industrial futuristic lamp installation in the main wall of the outdoor area, a beautiful vintage painted floor and those marble tables had me as soon as we walked in.If you haven’t been here before, trust me, you have to! |

| The new summer menu was creative and full of local fresh ingredients 100% quebecois, including a gorgeous charcuterie platter that was so delicious! so many contrasting flavours in one plate!We loved the Gazpacho of grilled peppers with smoked paprika and basil greek yogurt, the perfectly cooked bacon bites with prosciutto a l’erable with brandy (I think I ate them ALL) and the bacon-asparagus cream with a top glazed maple asparagus.The staff was impressive, including the manager of the restaurant, asking about our experience and explaining the history of each dish in detail, loved them!You’ll have lots of deliciousness in one night I can promise you that.
