31 Random Things About Me

Since I’ve been back blogging actively for the past months, I thought it would be fun to do a random list about me and my little family like I never did before. |

1. We’re originally from Venezuela and moved to Canada 6 years and 4 days ago (we are Canadians now, eh!) 2. We love traveling, eating and photography (you can tell Nico loves it too) 3. I can’t remember my age, ask Esteban if you’re interested. 4. Esteban and I have been together for 9 years now, which means we know each other very well 🙂 5. We started discovering new brunch places for fun about 4 years ago and now it’s the holy grail of this family. 6. Esteban and I dated for a few months and got married right away, it was totally meant to be. |

7. Olivia was born just one day before my birthday, back-to-back parties from now on! 8. I say “yay” too much. 9. I’m a foodie. I dream about food. Wake up thinking about food and as soon as I finish eating, I’m planning the next recipe. 10. Nico’s hair is my obsession. 11. I’m a sucker for great design and branding. If a product has a perfect packaging, you can swear I’ll get it. 12. I never blow dry my hair and I’m a top knot girl. |

13. I never wear foundation and I always forget to put some mascara in the morning.
14. Nico is starting to be a picky eater. It’s a big problem for a foodie mom, right? 15. I have seven tattoos, yeap, seven. And I want more. 16. I’m a city girl. I don’t do camping unless it’s glamping. 17. I’m a shoe addict. I have 50 something pairs of shoes. (sorry, Esteban) |

18. Bright colours make me happy. 19. My real name is Maria-Carla but I’ve always felt is so formal, so that’s why I decided to keep it simple as “Maca”. 20. I never had any coffee before being a mom, long nights changed me into a coffee junky. 21. We are raising our little ones bilingually, Spanish at home, French at school and English with friends and tv. You can read more about our journey here 22. I love a good Michelada, a Spritz or a fruity wine. I can’t do red wine. 23. I’m a carboholic. |

24. I love shoefies. I might need more shoes now. 25. I wish I could have an entire conversation based on GIFs or memes. 26. I hate talking on the phone. Text me or email me, I’m there 24/7. 27. I’m crazy about pineapple, cheese (any cheese), avocados and arepas. 28. Fall is my favorite season, always so fashionable! 29. I’m a list maker. everything should be on a list. 30. My hubby is a motion designer and besides being a blogger, I work in Digital Marketing. 31. I try to be as cheerful as I can, because at the end of the day we only live once, right? |

I love reading these lists about people! We have a lot of similarities, and a lot of differences, too! I also HATE talking on the phone, and I love that you are raising your children bilingually…I grew up bilingual and it really has so many benefits!
love that you're raising your kids trilingually! I grew up speaking French and English and learning Latin, and picked up reading Spanish and Italian and highschool. Now I learn languages as a hobby….such a great thing!
