When I was pregnant I heard from lots of friends some pretty scary stories about siblings and I have to confess I was kinda terrified. I had a difficult pregnancy with Olivia (gestational diabetes, lots of morning sickness, headaches, anything you can imagine) and I couldn’t help wondering if it was going to be the same case with my toddler as soon as they meet.
The day came and they finally met. 5 months later, I have to honestly say Nico is a true big brother to his baby sister Olivia. I didn’t experience that jealousy stage everybody told me (and keep asking about). He’s super proud of his little “baby” as he calls her in front of his friends.
He usually wakes up in the morning and the first thing he says is “Where’s Olivia mama?” and then, my heart just melts. He wants to feed her, builds lego spaceships for her and talks to her about his day at daycare (so darn cute!).
I’m so proud of this two already and I haven’t even seen anything yet.
Love you my sweet angels, with all my heart. |
