LOV Restaurant, A vegan heaven

LOV restaurant is the latest addition to Old Montreal, a great botanic, local and vegan spot Montreal needed for so long. With a stunning and I mean, Pinterest dreamy scene, the concept of this place is simply to elevate vegan food to a very next level of goodness.
What I loved about it is that even if you’re not vegan (like me) they have options for you and yes, I added real cheese curds to that poutine you see above.

As soon as you enter, you’ll notice how all the perfect details are all together in one single place. White washed exposed brick walls, hanging chairs with banana leaf pillows, copper lamps and a great selection of greens to compliment the personality of this spot and for crazy plant lady like me, it was love at first visit.

Local, organic and vegan are the main three elements of Lov and I couldn’t agree more, but I’d just add to that list fresh and innovative, because at the end of the day you don’t need to get bored when it comes to eat and enjoy a healthy menu.

Lov’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner options and you can find delicious waffles to start the day like a real champ, avo toasts with a perfectly poached egg and homemade sweet potato gnocchis. I just wanted to try the entire menu, I’m serious.

I never do selfies, but when I do I don’t show my face, #word

Here’s what we ordered this day:- Soup of the day (one of the tastiest curry lentils we’ve tried)- Avo toast with one poached egg- Kale Mac n’ cheese, with real organic cheese- Muse, a mix of curry cauliflower, tahini and lemon- Poutine lov, if you’re game for some miso gravy- Beet crackers with Nori butter- Onion rings, I’m just eating here again to have these over and over again

These mix of patterns are just beyond perfect.Tip: check all the bathroom details, the sink is a cute turquoise bike, so much fun!
