Yayy things of the weekend: Italian brunch

Le Richmond is one of the cutest new brunch places around our area, St-Henri/Griffintown.

Their latest expansion is this omg-to-die-for Marché Italien, a gourmet shop where I can spend lots, lots of time.

All the decor details are simply on point. Exposed brick walls, marble counter tops, beautiful chandeliers and mosaic vintage floors, a perfect ambiance for any weekend brunch.

I couldn’t resist to the eggs benedict, (hellodiabetes!) with a homemade focaccia bread (YES!), pancetta and a cheese sauce with confit tomatoes. How could I say no?

The veredict – Can I go back now?

My boys had eggs, homemade almond croissants, pancetta (of course) and all my leftovers lol, including potatoes, fruits and extra bread.

Also, their coffee (thank god Italians) was beyond good. If you’re not in the mood for a big eat, you can simply have a small bite and a perfect cup of coffee.
