Planning a Perfect Lunch Date? We Got You!

Montreal has so many options of delicious foodie spots you’ll feel a bit overwhelmed when it comes to select only one especially if you’re planning a great lunch date. Don’t you worry, I struggle with the same problem all-the-time.To help you out, head to Saint-Henri, where you’ll enjoy a perfect lunch at Lupita and finish off with a sweet touch in Dalla Rose as we did.
Lupita, a new reimagined Torteria is a unique Mexican experience, setting itself apart from the vast options of tacos and burritos in the hood. Lupita recently opened with a master chef behind the scenes, Sandra Soto, ex-Olive & Gourmando and sister of Victor from Tacos Victor. You’ll fall in love with their affordable options of tortas, deep-fried flautas, salads, and an authentic Mexican corn on the cob. We loved the colorful decor and casual ambiance along with their lovely cooks and servers.

Since you walk in, you’ll feel how they recreated a tiny piece of a Mexican market in the middle of Montreal. I enjoyed all the colorful vibes, the open concept and how you can see them cooking, the simple but cozy picnic table setting and all the little familiar details.

Here’s what we ordered:- Torta Pepito mi corazon- Torta Chilanga banda- Flautas- Lupita Plate- Aguas frescas

Crispy flautas? Si, por favor!

After a delightful Mexican fiesta, a creamy and dreamy scoop of ice cream is pretty much the perfect way to end up your lunch date, amiright? Dalla Rose will impress you with six heavenly flavors and homemade cookies fresh from the oven, their specialty.
What we had: -Homemade ice cream sandwich (the best of the best!)- Vanilla cup- Raspberry cone

Ps. If you’re craving for a good Ramen soup during Fall, Dalla Rose recently opened a new pop-up shop, Ramen 9000.With only 50 soups served daily and a stand-up concept, you better hurry to try this fabulous concept.
