Our Pink Christmas Tablescape at the Studio This Year!
A big pork roast in the oven, boiling a couple of hallacas, having a sip of a dreamy white wine at this wonderful and very different pink holiday tablescape this year, to finally say: Merry Christmas!
You know my love for designing tables over the years, and Christmas is no exception to the rule. This year (as weird as it was), I wanted to decorate even though no friends, no family are actually allowed to gather and celebrate together.
And as sad as this sounds, sometimes we have to focus on the good, and only positive things we have around us, like being healthy, at home, and putting together a sweet colourful decor to cheer us up, like our pink Christmas tablescape at the studio this year.
The main star of this table is of course the balloon garland, created by the talented local company Balloons Luxe, setting up a sweet colour palette that I complimented with my favourite compostable pastel scallop plates from Meri Meri, and my new cocktail glasses from CB2.
One thing I love to do when designing tables for any occasion, is to mix and play with different fabrics, materials and colours: linen, gold accents, copper candle holders, tablecloths with rich colours and much more.
Don’t be afraid of it, this is where the fun just begins!
one more week to say, by 2020, we won’t miss you!
I picked the sweetest dried flower bouquet to welcome the first snowy day, and I knew I couldn’t go wrong with everything pastel, especially in these tones, right?
