The October Edit

Another day, another month starting (ok, ok, 2021 needs a chill pill because it’s going WAY too fast). October brings all the beauty of Fall to the city and in this new monthly edit, I’m giving you a few ideas on what to do with your bestie, your family or just you to enjoy to the max this season.

YAY! let’s roll!

New Coffee shops in Montreal

Start the month on a healthy note

The goal this month? Trying a new spot! So run to Archway MTL  located in the heart of Verdun for a cute morning with your bestie, or if you’re planning a solo healthy fix. I visited Archway and LOVED everything about this place: the decor, the bright natural light and their menu. It’s a brunch-all-day kind of heaven, with delicious lemonades, smoothies, coffee, wine, beer and more.

Head to Atwater Market for some pumpkins and Fall decor

Our favourite family adventure? Atwater market in October! Where you can find an endless amount of different pumpkins, Fall flowers and fresh produce. Check their Facebook page for special events and new vendors in the farmers market over here.

Do not miss Shopbob Style Event

Where I nailed this incredible plaid blue dress from En Saison and other treasures I need to show you. They now deliver to Canada (including customs and a ridiculously ultra-fast shipping, finally!) where you can shop the best brands from the comfort of your couch – Hello, Ganni, is it you calling?

The Style event ends tomorrow, run here.

BRUNCH WITH YOUR FAVE HUMAN

If I need to pick only one place where I could have brunch for the rest of the eternity in Montreal, hands down I’d say Le Vieux Velo for their eggs beni. I took Oli (my favourite little human) a few weeks ago to a mama/daughter brunch and we both loved their cute terrace and of course, the classic BAB. Obviously, I always have it when I visit Vieux Velo. You haven’t been? Check my tiktok visit here.

Brasserie Harricana

Set up a date, at this cute pink spot

Pick your favourite Fall outfit (Hello, boots?) and head to Brasserie Harricana a beautiful and classic microbrasserie in Mile-End where pink meets tile heaven (with a solid yummy menu and local beers made right in the back of the restaurant). The fries and homemade mayo deserves an emmy nomination.
